Going to the Paralympics in Canada!

I’m excited to once again be representing my country at the Paralympics…and this time I don’t even have to ski!  I am honored to have been selected as a member of the official US Presidential Delegation to the Paralympic Winter Games beginning this Friday, March 12th, in Vancouver.  I’ll be posting all the exciting details on my blog, including my impression of the Opening Ceremonies (what’s going to happen to the torch this time?).  I’ll also include links to sites where you can watch all the events online.  It’s always so amazing to see these extraordinary athletes compete – you won’t want to miss a minute!  If you like, you can let me know your impressions of watching these events.  I’d love to hear from you.

PS – please pay special attention to one of the most incredible people I know, Caitlin Sarrubi.  Caitie is one of our very own athletes from the Adaptive Sports Foundation in Windham, NY where I volunteer. We’re all so proud of her.  She’ll be competing in a number of the alpine skiing events for the visually impaired, and she’ll be carrying the torch, too!
