Bonnie will be speaking on "Beyond Listerene, the Lone Ranger and the Energizer Bunny:  The New Meaning of Perseverance" for the sales leadership teams of the Interstate Hotels Group.

Bonnie will be speaking at the Families First event and attending Church on the 24th of August.
She will be signing her book, "How Strong Women Pray" on both days.

(Houston, TX) Shriners Hospital

Bonnie will be visiting the staff and patients at the Shriners Hospital in Houston.
The Houston Hospital is one of 22 Shriners Hospitals which all provide free medical care for children with burns, orthopedic problems, and spinal issues.   Bonnie received medical treatment for her leg at the LA hospital for free.

As one of four Paralympic Ambassadors, Bonnie will be training our athletes who will be competing in Beijing to prepare them to represent the USA, to be role models for Olympic values, and to deal with media interviews.

Bonnie St. John has been described by NBC Nightly News as “one of the five most inspiring women in America.”  She is a motivational speaker who was disabled and abused as a child, yet rose to become the first African-American woman to win Olympic medals in skiing, a Rhodes scholar, and a member of President’s Clinton’s Economic Council.  Her recent book, How Strong Women Pray, will be available for purchase.

With over 12 million AIDS orphans in Africa, New York area churches and individuals are coming together to change the lives of thousands of these children through World Vision sponsorships.

Despite being an amputee at age five, Bonnie St. John has led a life of great achievements. She won an Olympic Silver Medal for skiing in the 1984 Paralympics. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University and continued her studies as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University. She is the author of four successful books, a former IBM employee and current CEO of Courageous Spirit, Inc. She was also the Director of the White House National Economic Council during the Clinton Administration.
